Jon Measures
Making Art Since 1965
I produce urban landscapes inspired by the unique cityscapes of Los Angeles and in particular the East side and downtown areas. I’m fascinated by the intersection of painting, photography and digital media as well as between abstraction and representation.
I grew up in a small town in the North of England and ever since I arrived in the city of LA I have been captivated by the unique architecture and eclectic culture, the city is a collage, which is in keeping with my working process of digital and traditional collage combined with painting. My work is above all else a recognition and celebration of beauty unrecognized, in the unglamorous and gritty side of a city sometimes referred to as tinsel town and famous for glamour and celebrity.

Monoliths by Shane Reilly
Monoliths are a series of small scale, steel monuments whose large organic structures attempt to depict excessive mass and weight while resting in the palm of ones hand.

Tom Oliver
Tom Oliver is drawn to architectural landscapes that represent fine examples of their eras. These structures show a past in a world that craves new buildings without a past. They are optimistic memories of electric skies and undulating perspective, in spite of the pessimistic world where we exist.
Tom's paintings tell stories that showcase ideal aspects of a place and edit elements that do not serve the story. If he produces an accurate painting, he feels he has said nothing. he paints toward the moment when he reaches an emotional boundary and his narrative appears.

Lena Sayadian
Lena Sayadian creates symbolic images of creatures. She uses her work to express and represent emotions, power, submission, conflicts, religion, and relationships. Often, animals and other natural symbols are used to create a narrative about the hypocrisy and challenges of human society. These creatures represent the raw responses, animalistic behaviors and emotions that are common to all human beings.

Gordon Fales
Gordon's characters are made of objects found while hiking in the mountains, walking through his neighborhood, or given to him by friendly gardeners. He is inspired by nature, of course - but also science fiction, and macro photography of spores, insects, and fungi.
He is developing a story for these characters and their world.
